Blood in Blood out X Klabu

When refugees flee their home, they leave everything behind: family, friends, belongings. Waiting to return home in safety or be resettled can take years and in the meantime, refugees wait. Education and employment are hard to find, frustration sets in and the talent and potential of young people is wasted. Sport cannot solve all these problems, but it does boost morale in often harsh conditions, stimulates initiative and develops life skills such as team work. Sport brings together refugees and local communities playing sports together. Importantly it helps to raise awareness of the refugee cause amongst sports lovers around the globe. This is what KLABU stands for: not to accept wasted lives but instead help young refugees cope and connect on their way to a better future.
